Wednesday, November 21, 2007 | | Cloverfield - In theatres 1/18/08
By super @ 7:21 AM :: 99 Views :: 0 Comments | | Cloverfield You know, you gotta love the first person camera view in this movie, because I do. It really puts you in the fear and emotions of what's going to be happening in this film. What a way grab the eye of plenty viewers when an unidentified being, or universally foreign mosnter blows off the head of our beloved Statue of Liberty! My question is, why do they ALWAYS make aliens soooo damn powerful. Haven't they seen War of the Worlds? Just sneeze on the damn things for crying out loud. Why out of the WHOLE universe, the humans have to be the weaker race, huh?. We pretty much rule on earth, but once the big boys from Omicron Persai 9, of galaxy devision 73 come in, we become useless, puny, powerless, soil shuving earthlings. Ohh but we have the army, we have the navy, coast guards, marines, airforce, yadda yadda yadda. While the got damn UFO's and ET spawns out highly advanced gravity guns and tentacle sprouting autobots. They can see through walls, they can zap you're energy with one touch. Oh my, they've got high powered lazer opticals that can pierce you're chest and have a body organ of their choice come out on the other side! Jiminy cricket! Pfft, I'm not even going to give a synopsis for this. What's more to say. Giant monster/alien/better than humanoid beast, comes to terrorize New York City and they catch the whole thing on first person film. Again with terrorizing NYC. Don't even get me started on that one! Still, this movie looks pretty boss. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Discuss this blog

Tuesday, November 20, 2007 | | Enchanted In Theatres November 21st
By super @ 7:00 AM :: 75 Views :: 0 Comments | | Enchanted Comes out Tomorrow! An exciting adventure begins as two worlds collide in the new movie Enchanted. I've seen the trailer a couple of times, and it does look be a greate family comedy as it portrays. It brings in the classically steretypical Disney Cartoon film environment and aligns it with the real world. Let's see just how well these fiction characters adjust. A classic Disney animated fairy tale meets with the modern, live-action romantic comedy in Walt Disney Pictures' "Enchanted." Featuring an all-star cast, the film follows the beautiful princess Giselle (Amy Adams) as she is banished by an evil queen (Susan Sarandon) from her magical, musical animated land and finds herself in the gritty reality of the streets of modern-day Manhattan. Shocked by this strange new environment that doesn't operate on a "happily ever after" basis, Giselle is now adrift in a chaotic world badly in need of enchantment. But when Giselle begins to fall in love with a charmingly flawed divorce lawyer (Patrick Dempsey) who has come to her aid -- even though she is already promised to a perfect fairy tail prince (James Marsden) back home - she has to wonder: can a storybook view of romance survive in the real world?"Enchanted" is directed by Kevin Lima ("Tarzan," "Eloise At Christmastime") from a screenplay written by Bill Kelly ("Blast From the Past") and will feature original songs from the reunited team of acclaimed composer Alan Menken and lyricist Stephen Schwartz ("Pocahontas," "Hunchback of Notre Dame").

Monday, November 19, 2007 | | Horton Hears a Who
By admin @ 6:51 AM :: 134 Views :: 0 Comments | | Horoton Hears a Who Dr. Seus goes to the big screen again as Jim Carrey and Steve Carell share names on the credits once again. When I first saw the trailer for this movie, I was actually impressed by the style of humor seen in this film, not too cheesey, not to mature. In my opinion, it looks great for the kids, but also something the parents can watch and enjoy. An adaptation of Dr. Seuss's 1954 children's book, "Horton Hears a Who" is about an imaginative elephant (Jim Carrey) who hears a cry for help coming from a tiny speck of dust floating through the air. Suspecting there may be life on that speck and despite a surrounding community that thinks he has lost his mind, Horton is determined to help. Carell voices the mayor of Who-ville, a distinguished figure of a very small size, too small to be seen by the elephants eyes. -www.movieweb.com Discuss this blog |

Friday, November 16, 2007 | | Beowulf - In theatres and IMAX 3D
By super @ 4:00 AM :: 2338 Views :: 1 Comments | | Beowulf In Theatres I couldn't believe my eyes after viewing several screen caps, that this movie was indeed entirely 3D Animated, (well hey, it's news to me!). The perfeclty placed hair may have given it away, but in my opinion IMAX theaters takes this film to another level giving viewers the possibility to view the movie in 3D! To my surprise they even made Angelina Jolie's face entirely in 3D. I mean usually they just use the actors voice over some random figure, but bravo to the detail of a real human face put in 3D form. I actually remember having to read this book as a kid... or was it a poem?... I didn't do very well on that assignment anyways. Whatever it was, it's great to see the classics on the big screen. Bunnicula anyone?
Synopsis In a time of heroes, the mighty warrior Beowulf slays the demon Grendel and incurs the wrath of its monstrous yet seductive mother, in a conflict that transforms a king into a legend.Groundbreaking director Robert Zemeckis offers a vision of the Beowulf saga that has never been told before Warner Bros. Pictures, Paramount Pictures and Shangri-la Entertainment present "Beowulf," starring Angelina Jolie as Grendel's mother, Anthony Hopkins as the corrupt King Hrothgar, and Ray Winstone as Beowulf. The film also stars John Malkovich, Brendon Gleeson, Dominic Keating, Alison Lohman, Robin Wright Penn and Ray Winstone.Neil Gaiman ("MirrorMask," the graphic novel Sandman) and Roger Avary ("Pulp Fiction") adapted the legend for the screen. - www.movieweb.com Discuss this blog

Thursday, November 15, 2007 | | Futurama Returns - Premiere's Today
By super @ 4:29 AM :: 145 Views :: 1 Comments | | Futurama Returns If you heard rumors, you've heard correctly. The show that was cancelled, with only re-runs airing on Adult Swim, now follows in the footsteps of Family Guy as devoted fans bring the series back. The series "Futurama" that originally ran from 1999-2003 returns this year with a DVD titled "Benders Big Score" to be release on the 27th of November. Aside from the DVD's the show will be airing in 2008 on comedy central with NO LESS than 13 brand new episodes, that is for certain. Bender's Big Score, the movie premiere will be held today, November 15th, 7:30pm in LA, at the Cineramadome Theatre. This will be the first Futurama movie written by Ken Keeler and David X Cohen. I bet many Futurama fans are looking forward to the triumphant return of their beloved Futurama, just as Family Guy's return soared in popularity and gained many eyes of the press. SuperAdmin: The return of Futurama is definitely exciting. No matter how many times I watch the re-runs, I still find myself laughing at bad -mouth Bender, Clueless Fry, the annoying Zoidberg, the crazy professor, and the not-so-interesting Turanga LeeLa. However, it also seems to be no surprise that the DVD set to come out soon will probably leak on the internet just hours after it's released, so we should probably keep an eye open :D. | Wednesday, November 14, 2007 | | Harold and Kumar
By super @ 9:50 AM :: 49 Views :: 0 Comments | Harold and Kumar 2 It's been 3-4 years since we last heard from the dynamic duo. They're random craving to dine at white castle one night, led them to the most bizarre, hilarious, random night ever. If you're un familiar with part 1 of this movie, you're probably sure to find Harold and Kumar go to White Castle somewhere on this site. They're sequel set to launch February 8th, 2008 titled Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay should be a real tear jerker, tears of laughter that is. The name of the sequel as once thought, was said to be "Harold and Kumar go to Amsterdam", but such a title wasn't really appropriate for what lies ahead for these two fellows.
The sequel follows the cross-country adventures of the pot-smoking duo as they try to outrun authorities who suspect them of being terrorists when they try to sneak a bong on board their flight to Amsterdam. The stoners have a run-in with the KKK, travel to the inner-city where they interrupt a basketball game, before meeting President George W. Bush. And somehow the duo end up in Guantanamo Bay. Sounds like it should be really interesting. It's no surprise random stops at familiar places, and a few familiar faces will most likely show up in the movie just as it did in part 1. I personally can not wait to see how these two swindle their way out of a bigger mess. It does however make me wonder what happens to Harold and his love interest.
